After I began buying bibs for my first son in 2001, I remembered the wonderful quilted bibs my grandma used to make. Those bibs were passed down from cousin to cousin. They became softer with each wash, and they lasted forever. I decided to try to make some bibs like Grandma's.

By the time I had my second son, I was making bibs and burp cloths and selling them in a small shop in Austin, Texas. From there I moved on to the internet, and in 2008 I opened upsiedoodle.com.
